10 years of history with the RX-7 led Mazda
to celebrate their success with a special, limited production model.
They wanted this car to be the culmination of many years of dedication
and perseverance in perfecting the revolutionary (no pun intended)
rotary engine. They chose the powerful 13BT engine with it's 182 horsepower,
and then decked it out with every possible option including:
- air conditioning
- power steering
- power windows
- power door locks
- electric side mirrors
- sliding sunroof
- cruise control
- premium 120 watt stereo system
- security system
- black leather seats
- leather wrapped steering wheel
- Momo shifter
- bronze tinted windows
Exclusively available in a monochromatic
crystal-white finish, body trim, tail lamps and even the 16 inch alloy wheels were white.
This monochromatic paint scheme gave the 10th anniversary a special and unique look,
easily distinguishable from any other RX-7. Production was limited to 1500 models making
it the rarest RX-7 next to the 1990 GTUs, which numbered in the hundreds.
