Parts needed:

  • cone intake
  • 3"ID to 2.5"ID silicone reducer
  • 3"ID silicone or PVC connector
  • 3"OD 45 degree elbow
  • various clamps

The Air flow Meter's ID is about 3 1/4 inches and the turbo inlet's is 2.5 inches.  The reducer must be silicone because PVC will not withstand the heat from the turbo.  I have a 3 1/2"OD elbow that requires a 3 1/2"ID reducer and connector.   This is just because of the limited parts I managed to find.  The compressor bypass valve must be plumbed back into the duct.  There are many ways to do this, just go to your local hardware store and be creative.  The PCV breather tube that originally plumbed into the duct near the turbo inlet can be open air vented. Removing the air pump will give you some more room to work with.  This is a pretty easy and straightforward mod that definetly will increase power and probably give another 1 or 2psi.
